Lovely short walks in Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve and Molonglo Gorge near Canberra
With some relatives living in Canberra we visited the sanctuary area at the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve about 50 km SW of Canberra. In the late afternoon on a chilly day we wandered around the Tidbinbilla Sanctuary.

The following morning we woke to severe frost.

Thankfully the sun was shining, and there was little wind so we were able to enjoy our breakfast outside the Little Guy (despite freezing fingers). The previous day had been less cold, but so windy that we opted to have breakfast at the nearby EPIC Farmers Market – worthwhile seeing on a Saturday morning.

Later we enjoyed another walk at Molonglo Gorge Nature Reserve, much closer to Canberra.

Next, we’re heading north, hoping to find warmer places!
